This song sounds like it was recorded as part of an in-studio radio performance. It has that slightly echoey studio sound to it. Which I am sure is a product of it's hasty recording. This is also proof that I can't tell the difference between real and artificial drums since I was just wondering who had been playing drums when I read they were loops.
