Song of the Day - Day 49

Today's song is...

Reprehensible

Musically, a great song. Lovely little melody with a very retro feel. It's very... relaxed sounding. Does that make sense? And yay, clarinet! The lyrics have a nice rhythm to them and I like how Flans' voice sounds on the recording.

  1. I love this one. I think it belongs in a wacky TMBG Broadway musical.

  3. I think they should cash in on the popularity of by-the-numbers productions like "Mama Mia!" and make this the second song of act 2 of "This Is The Worst Part: a They Might Be Giants Musical Revue".

  4. I love Reprehensible so much. Clarinet, and such twisted lyrics...

When I found out the lyrics were written by Linnell... mind blown.

It was a song I was fascinated with for quite some time.

  5. The clarinet solo in this song actually sort of makes me swoon a bit. So much love for Mr. L. when I hear this.
