Bastard Wants To Hit Me
This is another song that just makes me laugh. I sort of picture Linnell writing it after an encounter with a crazed fan. Actually, I rather like the interpretation in the video where it doesn't really seem like the guy wants to hit the little dude at all until he runs away and makes the guy angry. And I like the piano part. It's quite lovely.

I used to not... really... like this song. But it's grown on me. That piano part is fun.
ReplyDeleteI never liked this song either, but now I do. I like to imagine that Linnell has just run into his house and slammed the door behind him and is panting and trying to explain to his wife why he's so freaked out. It makes me laugh.
ReplyDeleteI liked this song pretty much right away. It's catchy. It's also been a favorite among our kids, who particularly like the video. The two little ones used to call it "The Crazy Fastard Song". I hope that doesn't make me a bad parent.
