Fingertips (Banjo)
I was just thinking the other day that I was surprised that more of the Fingertips segments had not come up in SOTD yet, and then bingo! Having now seen Peter Stampfel live a few times I can vividly picture him recording this six second gem. What an odd duck. But certainly the sort of musician who seems like a perfect fit for the banjo. I think Dan does an excellent job filling in for him on live performances. And I love the look on his face while he does it. He does this raised eyebrow thing a lot of the time that is pretty adorable.

I have fond memories of hearing Fingertips played live. This is the most iconic moment of Fingertips, I think: Dan in the spotlight singing this.
