    Is it: "While they were staring at the Citgo sign"?

    If so, I cheated: didn't come up with the lyric on my own, but I finally found the landmark in the photo and then searched it on the Wiki. :-)

    Yes, I was looking for "While they were staring at the Citgo sign is when they lost our trail". For those who aren't seeing it, the world famous Citgo sign at Boston's Fenway Park (probably the one referred to in Moving to the Sun) is peeking over the treeline on the right side of the photo.
